This is just awful, haha. Anyway, this was my first attempt of trying to paint a portrait by the help of a reference photo. The reasons why it looks super-wonky in the beginning are many. For example I learned that it's much easier to paint something to look-alike if you have the reference the same size as you have your painting. After I fixed that the proportions started to look more like me, and not a Picasso.

xD This is great! Must have took quite a while? The end result is very good! I never used reference directly before, so i have this still ahead.
If i dare to critizise a little, i think darker background would'v look better with your portrait. Better contrast and would have similar style to your other works also.
